The Executive Orders have brought many changes and concerns for the future of the refugee resettlement process in the United States. CRRA expects to resettle over 200 people this year. This is a significant decrease in the number of new arrivals from previous years. However, CRRA continues to provide an array of services including: employment, intensive medical case management and immigration legal services for refugees up to five years from their arrival date.
Refugees are arriving from Burma, Bhutan, Somalia, Congo, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Eretria, Iraq, Syria, Iran and Central America.
Please make your voice heard to your elected officials. The United States should remain a safe harbor for refugees from around the world.
